My approach
“Fewer, but better.” Something a good photographer should understand is that photos, just like words, are about communicating. When I shoot, I’m looking for the frames that tell your story, & when I deliver your gallery you can count on not having to sift through dozens of images to find the ones that work — that’s what you pay me for! I’m not looking to merely capture “what happened,” but to focus on the real heart of it.
The flow
You might be wondering how this process works. Fortunately, it’s quite simple.
First… We have a conversation. We sit down, maybe drink some coffee, chat about your vision, your love, your ideas, & figure out how I can help capture them.
Second… We choose the location. The goal is something that fits your vision, that contributes to what we’re creating, rather than distracting from it.
Third… We show up & make something beautiful together. Not rushed, not stressed, just as ourselves with a world of potential before us. Comfortable, relaxed, unhurried, & honest. That’s how great photos are made.
