No. 025 — Hallie May

Welcome back once again, friends. I’m so glad you’ve chosen to tune in to yet another episode of (un)Common People — to have a listen to another human being with their own experiences and thoughts. This conversation is one I had with Hallie May. Topics include (but are not limited to): thinking critically about faith, sibling relationships, getting to know internationals, and dealing with embarrassment. I hope you enjoy listening!

Music created and provided by Maarten Schellekens

Intro: Sunday Morning (Mallet Play with Violin and Piano)

Outro: Mallet Play

I'm Joel, a storyteller from a rural town in northern Illinois, now based in Northwest Arkansas. I grew up spending a lot of time out of doors, and much of my indoor time with my nose in a book, two things that combined to create a passion for beautiful things and inspiring stories. I love capturing the real moments of life, in a way that reminds us that beauty isn't reserved for the extraordinary, but a part of everyday existence. In my writing and in my photography I seek to portray life as it truly is: totally miraculous, and wonderfully beautiful.
